Barry Hoover, MD, executive sponsor of the accountable care readiness program at Saint Elizabeth Regional Medical Center, Lincoln, NE, discussed the pilot program in Becker’s Hospital Review. In “Putting People at the Front of Accountable Care: Insight from CHI’s Dr. Barry Hoover,” Hoover discussed how the pilot altered the way care is provided to patients with coronary artery disease, COPD, CHF or pneumonia. He also offered three keys to making accountable care work.
