The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) has awarded Magnet Recognition for excellence in nursing care to TriHealth, Cincinnati, OH. Magnet status is given to hospitals that satisfy a set of criteria designed to measure the strength and quality of the nursing care provided at their locations. Appraisers also look for a collaborative, interdisciplinary team approach to care that recognizes nursing as a vital part of the team. Less than 7% of hospitals nationwide have achieved Magnet status.
