St. Vincent and HealthSouth Expand Rehabilitation Partnership

St. Vincent Health System, Little Rock, AR, and HealthSouth Corporation, Birmingham, AL, announced an expansion of their joint venture, St. Vincent Rehabilitation Hospital, Sherwood, AR. On Dec. 23, the joint venture purchased a 23-bed rehabilitation unit, St. Vincent Rehabilitation Hospital/Doctors, which was formerly operated by St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center. The unit will now be operated under the joint venture and will be managed by HealthSouth Corporation. There are plans to relocate the unit from St. Vincent Doctors Hospital to St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center within the next two years.
