The Goal is Increased Participation in Voting
My Voice, My Vote is a local and national campaign by Catholic Health Initiatives to encourage employees, volunteers, physicians and community partners to become registered voters, to learn about candidates and issues, and to vote. The campaign is nonpartisan, and encourages a focus on participating in the political process based on varied interests and good judgment.
Health care workers are the heart of the community. By choosing occupations of service, you demonstrate daily your commitment to improve the lives of others and the community. At Catholic Health Initiatives, we believe that becoming involved and voting is another valuable way that we can all serve our community.
Voluntary and Flexible
My Voice, My Vote is entirely voluntary. Organizations and individual employees may decide how to become involved in the campaign, if at all. If you choose to participate in My Voice, My Vote, a full menu of materials and ideas is available to you on this website and through national office contacts.
A Unifying Theme Focused on the Individual
Too often nonvoters think their vote just doesn’t matter. Our campaign theme, My Voice, My Vote works to counter that notion. This campaign focuses on the significant contribution that individual employees can make, emphasizing that every vote counts and makes a difference in the outcome of an election.
